a long day in Tagaytay.....

___________________

it''s odd but something so familiar and ordinary
could turn into something new. ..........

We had lunch in this place in front of
SOHO Grande they call Green Ats---
the name doesn't make sense to me but they
call it such.......

Stayed in a part worth Php 1, 200
consumable---at least you should not order lower
than that amount.

getting ready for lunch.......

that's Josh salivating.....

that's me in the corner......

I was not satisfied with the food but I enjoyed the landscape below and the company of my friends. We paid for the view......

a bit cloudy ...but at least it didn't rain.....

then we were off to the Palace in the Sky---we skipped people park because the place is getting uglier and uglier. To my awe, the Palace in the sky is no different. I think the city government of Tagaytay is not doing it's homework----( could somebody give them a wake up call!!!!)

I think I see no effort on their part to improve public places----maybe all they care for is revenue. We owe to the active participation of the private sector why some areas of Tagaytay are getting better. sigh

Good thing the weather is still better than that of Manila and the view of the lake is indeed breathtaking as usual.

the road leading to Tagaytay Highlands...

looks familiar?

....and so the picture taking started again-------

Celine doing the Pelita Corales Pose......

feels like Baguio 2007.......

...as I said, a seemingly ordinary place turned special. Thanks to them.....we retired ourselves from this site, bought some peanuts, walked down the hill to the nearest jeepney terminal.

Destination: public market. The fun part has just started----we stormed the public market to buy some stuffs for dinner and breakfast. Went back home, cooked together and at around 12 midnight, we were all humming songs while drinking wine........and a mix Josh calls boracay........very memorable indeed.

  12. hehe. nagutom ako dun sa pagkain ah.

by the way, i'm nothing but to agree with everything you said. when we went to tagaytay last oct. 2008 with my friends, I can't help but to compare it with the tagaytay we saw last 2005.

It seems that it's getting uglier every year particularly People's Park.*sigh*

So, I don't wonder if we saw only a bunch of tourists (mostly locals) last year compared when we visited it 4 years ago.

If only the place will be renovated it will atract more tourists. I hope Tagaytay authorities are listening.
