BEST WESTERN PREMIER F1 Hotel buffet lunch

I saw this in one of the group buying sites before but failed to purchase their lunch buffet discount offer. Good thing I was invited last Thursday along with 10 other bloggers to try their lunch buffet. I learned first hand that F RESTAURANT is one of the showcases of BEST WESTERN PREMIER F1 HOTEL located at located at 32nd Street of Bonifacio Global City Taguig.

The first thing I noticed when I came was the elegant and stylish interior. I looove the beautiful brown chairs.I was surprised coz there were so many people. As expected coz it was 12 noon when I came but I thought it was too crowded for the space relatively smaller than other hotel restaurants I've been to. I found out later on that it was the OPENING DAY of the restaurant. kaya pala. To be honest, I thought they have been around for a few months coz they've already been creating a buzz.....we were lucky to be the first to be invited.

Time to find out why..............

APPETIZERS

I usually skip the appetizers coz I am Lactose intolerant so I go to the main dishes first and try the appetizers next. Baliktad. In F Restaurant, there are many appetizers to choose from. What I particularly love are their salads. Really tasty.

SALADS

Unlike in other hotel restaurants where you have options to choose ingredients create your own, salads in F RESTAURANT are readily made. But as I said, the salads are not to be missed.

THE MAIN COURSE DISHES

Forgive me if my memory is very short when it comes to names of dishes. I said before that I will be bringing pen and paper to jot them down but with my camera on one hand, I don't think holding a pen on the other will be practical. Let my photos speak for the food dishes then. Apologies. And I can't promise on the next post that things will be different. I've been dining heavily these past few years so as to get myself familiar but I fail each time. I find it futile now.So as I said, let the pictures speak for themselves.:D

One thing I noticed is that there are not so many choices when it comes to specific food categories, say, salads or appetizers but one thing I can assure you is that the entire menu of F restaurant is as diverse as one can hope for. There are a lot of choices for your discriminating tongue. That means a parade of tastes for you to try.

They serve Garlic Chili Crab but I didn't feel like making kamay so i didn't try it.I tried Salt and Pepper Prawns instead and it was good. My personal favorite , the Roast Beef in Mushroom Sauce . yum!

Another observation, some of the chefs go around with their small carts bringing with them a particular dish which they would ask you to try. If, in a cart and a chef is pushing it, believe me, it's good so don't hesitate to have a bite.

THE STAFF

The people running the restaurant are friendly. They are always ready to accommodate you with a smile. Be wary of the ones cleaning the table though, you have to tell them not to get your plates unless you ask them to do so, they could be conscious with your table that they might pick your plate even if you don't ask them too. Or maybe only that day coz it was opening day so they seem to be in a hurry due to the volume of people. It might also be because they are not yet very familiar with how things should be done, say, ask the guest first before pulling their plates. Who knows, some of them are new in the job too. One thing I noticed though, many are good looking. hahaha. I don't usually look at the faces of the ones who clean my table but I just notice it in F restaurant. lols

If I may add, even the high level position personnel are hands on in the job. The manager even picked pieces of food in one of the tables we occupied. I was told by one of the bloggers that he was surprised that the manager himself did the cleaning for her.:D

DESSERTS

This is what i always look forward to in a buffet. I stuff myself with the main dishes so I can eat all the desserts I want afterwards with no worries about getting an upset stomach. The desserts at F Restaurant didn't disappoint me.

AL FRESCO BAR AND POOL AREA

I really like it here. There is a small pool and and another infinity pool under construction. It's just outside F restaurant separated by a glass wall so it looks like an extension of the restaurant. But it's for all hotel guests and condominium unit owners to enjoy. One can marvel at the view while sipping your coffee of drinking your favorite liquor mix from the pool bar.

I LOVE THE AMBIANCE

Regular buffet at F Restaurant is at 1,800 pesos similar to most hotel buffets in the Metro. I say the price is reasonable enough for the wide selection that they have to offer. And with the view like the ones below, who wouldn't want to pay 1,800 for this place anyway? I love such views. Sana nga magkaroon ng sky restaurants in Metro Manila like the one's they have in Bangkok coz I love dining with the view of buildings around. Personally, this is a perfect spot for a date.:D
