TAMARIND RESORT Binangonan to the rescue

Feels like weekend again,or maybe it's just me. I've been on energy saving mode since last week and I don't feel like doing anything special except staying around lazying. The best that I could do since summer heat is unbearable is to go swimming. We have two swimming pools in our village so that means I don't have to go far to get that refreshing plunge.I've been to the pool twice this week but last Sunday was kinda different.I was visited by former colleagues from Jose Rizal University and we originally planned to go swimming in one of our clubhouse pools.Unfortunately.................

2 clubhouse pools closed for repairs, 2 former collegues from Jose Rizal University (JRU) in the house, Sunday, Summer =panic

TAMARIND RESORT SAVED THE DAY

I immediately scouted for a place to go instead until I realized about this newly opened public pool just a few meters away from our main gate.Since I don't have a car, I though this would be it.We packed the food we cooked and headed to the shuttle terminal inside Saint Monique Valais.

As expected, there were many people.Like us, they all wanted to quench the heat. They have one big pool for the general public (entrance 100pesos per head) and 4 private pools. They call it private because you have to rent the whole place exclusively for your group. The kids immediately took the dip in the public pool area while us adults lazied under the cottage which we rented for 300pesos.

We noticed that due to the volume of people, the water is not really that clean anymore.Leave it to the kids. They are less choosy plus they have stronger resistance from germs.Hahaha.Who was it who once said that we should learn from kids when it comes to the area of "being happy?"lols

Good thing one of the private pools got vacated before five pm.Since we arrived after lunch, the management allowed us to stay until 6pm which is 1 hour beyond the time for day tour. We were even allowed to transfer to one of the bigger private pool. Thanks to the convincing power of my wife. That was the time when me and my two former colleagues decided it's worth the dip. Nakasisid din.Thank God. :)

And now,I feel compelled to justify why I am writing about this.Perhaps I feel nostalgic of the time when I was just starting to blog----when most of my posts were personal in nature and that I didn't have to write for anybody except myself.

One more thing, if you feel lazy going out because of the extreme heat, don't.Rainy season is expected to start earlier this year so better take advantage of the remaining sunny days.Get some tan.Live. I am sure there is a swimming pool nearby. You don't have to go far or spend much. There's always room for a simple fun and a time with the family.Yes,that's another thing.Family bonding is priceless plus it could also be a good chance to reconnect with friends like what I did with my former co-teachers. Enjoy!!!:)
