Loreland has caught my attention again lately. I've been seeing a lot of changes (through social media) so we thought it would be nice to come back and check the place again. It didn't disappoint.I realized that the resort has held a special place in my heart.Seeing the transformation made my heart silently cheer.
LORELAND FARM RESORT Antipolo has evolved into something "fresh"and "exciting"!
Starting with the reception area, you get a feel of a fresh start. Definitely sets the good mood. It's comfortable, clean, spacious and bright.
Receptionists are polite and quick.I love quick service. Especially if you are coming in from a public commute, the last thing you want is to get stuck with the check-in process, lalo pag lagkit na lagkit at swimming na swimming kana.
For those with private vehicles, there is a large parking area right next to the gate.
The word "farm" in the name is there not because they want to make it sound better but because it really is a resort in a farm. That's one thing I like about Loreland. Once inside the gate, you can feel that you are in a lush environment. That you can have for a 30-45 minutes drive from the Metro.
FAMILY, BARKADA, COUPLE's Resort
Meet Angel, she is my wife's youngest sister. We decided to adopt her when my mother in-law died last year since nobody is to take care of her.You will be seeing more of her in our future travels therefore.
Loreland Resort was her first out of town with us and it was a fitting introduction since Loreland ---other than being a favorite destination among barkadas and couples ---is also a family-friendly resort.
If I could recall correctly, there are around 14 pools scattered all over the resort. Each with a distinct accent. 5 Big, 6 Small ones and 3 Infinity pools at Luljettas Hanging Gardens.
We all have our favorite spot in a place. This pool is my favorite.(Or should I say was, coz Luljettas hanging gardens has recently captured my heart).I remember it was here where we had a late night dip one January night in 2008. Remember, January is cold season in the Philippines and we went for a night swim. Kami lang yung tao sa pool that time.It felt exclusively ours.Who would dare swim on a chilly night by the way except for some crazy "love birds" , at kami yun.lol
I had issues with the room we stayed in five years ago.It could use a little renovation so I thought paying 2,500 php was a waste. Now, rooms are fully renovated. No more complaining for me.
We stayed in a Villa with a private pool. The room is spacious with a king size bed.Perfect coz we didn't have to request for an extra bed for Angel.Flat screen 32-in cable tv fixed on the wall, a dining table just in case you bring in food, hot and cold shower. What else can I ask for.
Here is another example of the rooms they have at Loreland.
LORELAND FARM RESORT Antipolo is really stepping up the plate.

The common misconception is that resort food is expensive.Well that is mostly the case. You feel robbed each time.I also thought food at Loreland. Surprisingly, it's cheap. With the amount of serving and quality, I thought they could increase the price a little more and I wouldn't even complain. My wife had to go through the hassle of carrying in food eh mas mura pa nga dito kesa sa mga fastfood store sa labas.
Loreland prides itself as a famous venue for wedding and events. It's advantage is the big venue which could accommodate a large crowd.
And now we have a new favorite spot in the Resort.
Luljettas Hanging Garden and Spa!
This place is a piece of heaven suspended on a hillside. Lulljetas is love.It is peace. It is exclusivity.
This section is exclusive for those who avail of Spa services.Meaning, not all main resort guests are allowed access to maintain the serenity of the place. One can go here either exclusively for Luljettas or as part of a package which includes the use of the main resort.

Five years and so many things have changed in this resort. All for the better. Loreland has been around for many years and whilst years of being in the business meant decay of facilities for many resorts,Loreland has shown how good management can well maintain a place and even evolve it into something fresh and exciting. This place is worth frequenting.
