Tam-awan Village in Pinsao Proper, Baguio City uniquely blends indigenous aesthetics and exquisite Cordilleran craftsmanship with an artist’s concept for a village adapting to Baguio setting.
Activities includes tour in Tam-awan Village, briefing about TIAF, basic sketching and drawing for the media . The theme for this year's festival which is expected to be the year's biggest Art Festival is “Brewing with the Arts.”
The 3rd Tam-Awan International Arts Festival (TIAF) in partnership with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, the Chanum Foundation will conduct the festival in celebration of heritage month.
There will be talks on art conservation and museum restorations. Issues regarding Cordillera culture ethnic attires will also be discussed in the said event. Look for the traditional Canao performance which will be staged daily.
