onboard Hong Kong International's AIRPORT EXPRESS

I realized that I wasn't able to extensively blog about our Macau-Hong Kong trip in 2011 compared to what I did in Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand so I am attempting to post a couple more helpful tips despite most of my photos wiped out when my computer crashed last year. Yeah, my existing posts are nothing but those shitty pang-inggit posts na di naman nakakainggit so I hope this one could be more useful :p

During our short 3D/2N stay in Hong Kong in 2011, we stayed with our Filipina godmother working as domestic helper in Hong Kong as her employer provides a separate house for her. The thing is, he works and lives in Chung Chau which is an outlying western island 45 minutes away via ferry from Central Ferry Terminal in Hong Kong Island.

Our stay in Chung Chau made our Hong Kong vacation more memorable as it felt like being one of the locals and going back each night felt like going back to our own house. It was surreal.

The main concern at that time though was our flight back to Manila. Oour entry yo Hong Kong was via ferry from Macau so we weren't really familiar with the transportation to Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA). Although quite pricey, we didn't wanna risk missing our morning flight so we opted for the fast, comfortable and efficient AIRPORT EXPRESS.
