Yes......
we are seeing
a serious
threat: BATMAN--the Dark Night
It is continuously
shattering
box office records.
------the biggest three-day opening in box-office history, the biggest opening weekend ever, the fastest film to hit $300 million, single-day box office record. The Dark Knight opened on July 16, 2008 in Australia and July 18, 2008 in the United States and Canada. Now only in it's second week, it was able to climb to the 25th spot in All Time Box Office Chart (U.S.). Does it mean to say that the titanic is about to lose it's position in the number one spot? Anything is Possible.....
All Time Box Office (U.S.)as of 08.22.08
Rank Gross
1 Titanic $600,788,188
2. The Dark Knight--$489,179,000
3 Star Wars $460,998,007
4 Shrek 2 $441,226,247
5 E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial $435,110,554
6 Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace $431,088,301
7 Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest $423,315,812
8 Spider-Man $403,706,375 javascript:void(0)
9 Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith $380,270,577
10 The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King $377,027,325
The film has gained more publicity since the death of HEATH LEDGER, who plays The Joker in the movie. Let's see if batman has enough stamina to sink the TITANIC......

wow, now i really can't wait to see the dark knight! but since there are no english movie theatres here in cambodia, i have to wait until a good copy comes out in bootleg dvds! hahaha! cool blog dude!
ReplyDeletethanks. it really is too bad that you cannot watch movies there in english.
ReplyDeleteBTW, how long have you been staying in Cambodia? are you staying there for good?
Added you in my list......
been here for almost four years. we're probably staying here til there's a reason for us to leave, but so far, we're pretty much having a great time here.. except of course, for the movie theatres thing...
ReplyDeletenot to bad mouth titanic, but it sucks.
ReplyDeletethe dark knight rules!!!
Both of them are great films...although they are a bit different in category and they also have a different effect on people.
ReplyDeleteWe have to admit though, Titanic has a more lingering effect...
Don't worry, I also love batman.....
