BEACH RESORTS IN SAN JUAN BATANGAS: Blue Coral Beach Resort

I think I need coffee to counter the nervous anticipation I am having right now.The POP TALK episode of GMA News Tv channel-11 featuring BEACH RESORTS IN SAN JUAN BATANGAS will be aired today at 10pm . This is making me scared.I donno exactly how I will look like on tv.Maybe my uneasiness with the camera would show?I hope not.And especially during the giving of our verdict.I hope I did well there because I couldn't remember what I exactly said.hahaha

Yes, I was one of the three guest reviewers for this particular episode. The online aricle on GMA News Online described the three of us in this fashion......

"Para alamin kung alin sa mga Batangas beach resorts na ito ang pop o flop, sinamahan si Tonipet  ng travel blogger and photographer na si Antonio Carranza, ang project manager at part-time model na si Maria Fe Orozco Bautista, at ang celebrity reviewer at Kapuso Hunk at Survivor na si Ervic.Vijandre.

Shayks!Okay, to counter my nervous feeling, let me talk about the three resorts we visited in detail. Let's start with BLUE CORAL BEACH RESORT

Blue Coral Batangas

BLUE CORAL BEACH RESORT  which gave me the impression of an upscale resort.I was surprised to find out that their rates are also affordable.Reasonable might be the right word.It became clear to me by that time that resorts in San Juan are group traveler friendly. Here, you can get a beachfront room for 6 for only 5,800php. Despite the rates, rooms are clean, well kept and beautifully interiored.

The most important this is that the rooms are reasonable to the rates they offer.

Here, we lazied by the beach and we taped while on the banana boat. Was surprised to learn that the well known and they say---much hyped-----Acuatico Resort is just nearby. The view of that resort is inviting even from the banana boat. Also had a few shots from the pool.It was here where we had to really swim and I was kinda shy knowing that I was with two other people, one being the gorgeous Maria Fe and the other being the celebrity that is Ervic Vijandre.I didn't feel like swimming along with them but I had to.It was still fun though. My only regret was---I forgot to bring my board short so I felt like I look unflattering wearing my boxer shorts.hahaha

IN ONE OF THE BEACHFRONT ROOMS, WE NOTICED SOME MIRRORS
on the ceiling. One of our companions immediately remarked "lakas-maka-motel"ng mga mirrors.nyahaha. That's what I also thought the moment I saw them.
But on a serious note, this place is decent ha.:)

THE FOOD

Didn't get to eat much here coz I was still full after eating a lot back in Kabayan Resort.By this time, It started to feel uneasy to to tiredness and lack of sleep.mahirap pala talaga maging artista.lols.What I am trying to say is, it's not easy pala to do what they do, that is, to keep the energy despite the heat, lack of sleep and tired muscle due to all the activities.Hope you got what I mean.:D

They have a good restaurant though located at the main building where guests can take their meals.Guests are required to pay for the meal. For Day tours, I think it's at around 1,500php entrance fee per head which includes lunch.

They serve the usual food of course, unfortunately i was still full so i didn't sample the food. But my colleagues said it's good.I feasted on some fruits instead. :)

The POP TALK tv guesting episode was a fun experience.Twas my first time in the area of San Juan and la Iya beach and I never thought it would be in this fashion.Got to see three resorts in a day and sampled a few activities that could be done in the area. The beach of La Iya may not be as fine as other beaches but the presence of so many resorts ranging from budget to luxury assures the flood of tourists that everyone will be accommodated. The area is famous for local tourists who usually travel in groups, say, family and friends.

Will be featuring two other resorts in La Iya San Juan Batangas in my next posts. :)
