PUERTO DEL SOL MOMENTS: Sunset at Patar White Beach

“I have always loved the beach. The smell of the salty water, the wind in my face, the gentle roar of the waves all combine to create a sense of peace and calm.” --Anonymous

“Why do we love the sea? It is because it has some potent power to make us think things we like to think.”--Robert Henri

Having been to the different attractions around Patar Bolinao several times,my wife and I decided to stay the resort and relax a bit while the rest of the group went on with the tour.Another reason is that we wanted to see the beach wedding in Puerto Del Sol.

But we promised to catch them in Patar White Beach where we planned to lazy around until it get dark.Patar is on the Western side so sunset here is really a thing you should not miss.Even the most talked about Manila sunset couldn't compare.I actually like sunset here more than that of Boracay.

At least because Patar White Beach is less crowded so it's easier to isolate yourself physically and mentally.

Missed the sun touch the sea that day but me and my wife saw it on our way there. We were in a tricycle and it was on hilltop near Patar Lighthouse when we saw it setting. It was large and fierce red.

Saw the guys lazying on the sand having their moments when we got to the beach.

It was still bright enough to snap a few photos here and there. We sat there with the rest of the group and stayed until it was dark.Being there, feeling the sea breeze and the soothing, gentle waves touching the shore. It was like being with the elements and being in the moment.it's when you let the breeze take with it all your troubles and stresses away. Moments like this are priceless.
